Chargeway has launched an app that will allow its users to find charging spots for their electric vehicles (“EVs”) in North America. Michigan Seeks to Introduce Wireless Charging Highway for EVs

Michigan state is looking to introduce a wireless charging highway in Detroit that will charge modified electric vehicles (“EVs”) when they drive on it. The state will work with Electreon Wireless, an Israeli startup, to implement the infrastructure. UK Records an 11% Drop in Carbon Dioxide Emissions in 2021

The United Kingdom recorded an 11% drop in the carbon dioxide emissions of new cars sold in 2021. This is the lowest level ever, and it can be attributed to an increasing demand for electric vehicles (“EVs”). 84% of January Car Sales in Norway Were Electric Vehicles

The popularity of electric vehicles (“EVs”) in Norway has led to a huge demand for EVs. In January, electric vehicles accounted for 83.7% of all car sales within the country. This is up from 53% as recorded in January 2021, and it breaks the 77% record set in September 2021. Official numbers also state that for every 20 vehicles sold, 19 came with a cable. According to a new study conducted by AutoInsuranceEZ, electric vehicles (“EVs”) were involved in few automobile fires when compared to hybrid vehicles and fossil-fueled cars. The researchers used data on car fires and compared that data to the information available regarding the number of vehicles bought in the United States.
